читать дальшеDoctor looked at the mirror with some disbain. He didn’t remember putting celery in his lapel. He must have done it during or around his speech on that celebration. Yes… That must be it.
Celery in question looked like it has seen better days.
Doctor tossed it into the bin and walked out the room. He returned five minutes latter and stared at the bin in deep contemplation with his hands in his pockets. After a moment his frown ceased. He tried to fish the celery out, but it was a difficult task. In fact he couldn’t do it.
He gave up and scratched his head for a better idea.
Since then Doctor wore imitation celery in his lapel. It was handy because it stayed fresh and un-smelly long enough for him to visit a planet or two. It was also jolly green. However it was completely inedible. Doctor even had to cure a poor animal who had eaten it once.
